Saltoun House 5 bedrooms

A wonderful property, particularly for a large adult group (we were a family group of adults using four of the bedrooms) Positive: This proved to be the perfect property for our stay with our family group. It is centrally located. The house is really well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A lot of thought had clearly gone into this. The house was also very clean and extremely spacious, with all bedrooms being a good size and well equipped (even having individual tvs and fridges!). The house has washing machine, dishwasher, even an air fryer! Household sundries such as toilet rolls, tea bags, etc were all supplied, as were bedding and towels, making our stay really easy. This is a wonderful house and a fabulous host. We really appreciate the consideration that went into making our stay so comfortable. I would definitely use this house again and absolutely recommend it to others visiting the area. Negative: The house is situated on the High St, which is a fabulous central location, close to amenities, harbour, broader beach etc and worked well for us, but being so central the street can be a bit noisy sometimes. Also the house is entered via a steep staircase which was a pain to carry our luggage up. However, knowing this now, in future I would bring two smaller suitcases rather than one large!!! The staircase would be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. It would also be helpful to have a grab rail in the shower.
